Featuring Keynote Heather Warlick, Editor of Oklahoma Journal Record
Heather Warlick is a local news editor and longtime journalist. She currently serves as editor of The Journal Record and in her role, she leads the organization’s state news coverage along with spearheading The Bridgetower Media Awards program in Oklahoma.
Warlick is passionate about equal opportunity for all. She has investigated homelessness and evictions in Oklahoma and uncovered systemic discrimination against renters.
She served as the editor of The Oklahoman’s Life and Style section during her decade on staff at that organization, as well as covering technology, health and nonprofit topics. In her journalism career, Warlick has strived to serve the community with honesty and integrity.
Giving of her time and resources is important to Warlick; she has supported St. Jude’s Children’s Hospitals for 25 years as a donor and a volunteer. She is a proud parent and a classically trained musician living in Edmond. She attained a bachelor’s degree in journalism and completed her graduate studies in Public Administration at University of Central Oklahoma.

Please bring cash if you plan on purchasing additional drinks. Each attendee will receive two drink tickets good for beer or wine. VIP attendees will receive drink tickets good for liquor, beer, or wine. The bars accept drink tickets and cash only.

All attendees receive a starting amount of play money. Guests can collect their starting chips from any dealer. Additional chips can be purchased by visiting “Chips and Drawing Tickets” on this webpage.

Additional gaming chips can be purchased by visiting “Chips and Drawing Tickets” on this webpage. Let your dealer know how many chips you purchased after your transaction is complete. We will not be accepting cash for chip purchases.

Chips can be traded in to any dealer for tickets to our drawing. Drawing prizes will be announced throughout the evening. Attendees will receive 1 ticket for every $100 in chips. Tickets will need to be turned in before the final drawing at 10 PM. Winners need not be present to win.

Yes, we will draw for prizes throughout the night. The final drawing of the night will be for an incredible trip of the winners choice! Trip options will be displayed at the event. All attendees will receive one ticket for the drawing. Additional tickets can be received by exchanging their chips with a dealer anytime during the night or purchased on the gala website. All tickets need to be turned in before the final drawing at 10 PM. Winner need not be present to win.
